KIEBACK&PETER SOLUTIONS

Kieback&Peter product portfolio includes the folowing solutions:

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Building automation opens up particularly high savings potential for buildings – both new constructions as well as in the renovation of existing buildings. Building automation not only saves heating energy, but also electricity for lighting or air conditioning, for example – sustainably over the entire life cycle. The primary energy consumption of a building can be cut in half through building automation.

ROOM AUTOMATION

The amount of energy a building requires, and therefore the cost of running the building, depends upon how much energy is needed and used in each individual room. For the user, however, the most important thing is comfort which is determined by the air quality and temperature in the room as well as factors such as lighting and anti-glare protection.

Room automation provides offices, classrooms, hotel rooms, stores, and so on, with healthy ambient conditions, comfort and optimal room settings in accordance with the needs of the users and the room’s use. Room automation is also used in sensitive surroundings such as laboratories or museums. Its utilization ensures the stable conditions demanded in these settings.

BUILDING MANAGEMENT

Building management systems are tools for technical facility management. Building management systems form the interface between the operator, the building automation system and the integrated equipment. The technical equipment is operated, monitored and serviced via the building management system thus optimizing your company. Acting as the central operating tool, the building management system must also offer high ease of use. Building management systems process and store all plant data. These are then available for evaluations, analyses and protocols.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Comprehensive system integration is an important condition for easy and sure equipment operation and monitoring. In addition, it improves maintenance as well as operational safety and life span.

System integration is also an important condition for energy efficiency. System integration creates the foundation for the intelligent interaction of all components of the facility. System integration makes it possible to benefit from synergies in order to operate buildings in an energy efficient and environmentally friendly manner as possible. An important element of system integration is open automation protocols and fundamental technologies like BACnet, LON or EnOcean.

KIEBACK & PETER PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

ROOM AUTOMATION
technoLink

The Kieback&Peter technoLink® system is a room automation system which uses wireless communication. It is based on the manufacturer neutral, open EnOcean wireless technology. By using wireless communication in all system components and also due to its extremely low energy need, the EnOcean technology allows the implementation of especially innovative product and system solutions.

technolon

The Kieback&Peter technolon system is based on LON technology. LON allows the connection of different trades and products from different manufacturers into a trade-spanning integration network and that secures communication with each other. The room automation functions are defined by so-called LonMark profiles using LON technology. This simplifies its implementation.

AUTOMATION STATIONS

Automation stations are programmable automation equipment in a building automation system that enable the free programming of control and operation strategies. Kieback&Peter offers you a large range of automation stations for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning as well as control, either as single controllers or as a system. The automation station functions from Kieback&Peter are available at any time as basic programs, software menus and macros. Parameterization ensures customization to the control and operation strategies.

DDC4000

The DDC4000 automation system is an operating and control system for the measurement, control, operation, optimization and monitoring of technical plants (BTA). It is developed on the basis of a 32-bit processor and works according to the multi-task principle. The operating system is Linux.

DDC3000

The DDC3000 building automation system is an operation and control system for the measurement, control, operation, optimization and monitoring of technical plants (BTA). It is developed on the basis of a 32 bit processor and works according to the principle of spetially distributed intelligence.

DDC420

The Kieback&Peter DDC420 automation station regulates, controls, monitors and optimizes heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in small and medium-sized buildings and real estate. The DDC420 can be seamlessly integrated into a larger automation or building management system.

HRP - Procesor

The automation station HRP (Heating Control Processor) is used for the measurement, control, operation, optimization and monitoring of heating systems.

LRP - Procesor

The LRP automation station (Ventilation Control Processor) is used for the measurement, control, operation, optimization and monitoring of ventilation and air conditioning systems.

BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Neutrino-GLT

As a control center, the neutrino GLT takes over the superordinate management tasks for the optimal operation of the technical building equipment (TGA) and/or technical plants (BTA). By connecting the neutrino GLT to the automation stations and to other devices at the automation and field level, the operator is able to check and influence the BTA at the management level.

Software Modules

An extensive range of software modules is available for the optimal set-up of the Neutrino-GLT building management system for its specific tasks. Some of them contribute significantly to improving energy efficiency in buildings. E.g. the SM42 software module was developed especially for the hotel industry. It uses the reservation system’s data in order to automatically regulate temperature and climate in the hotel rooms based on its occupancy status.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

The „Energy Management“ software from Kieback&Peter meets all requirements for a high performance, modern energy management system. It allows simple and reliable recording of consumption data and offers numerous possibilities for data preparation. It allows precise consumption analysis and energy diagnosis through characteristic values and benchmarking, mapping of consumers and identification of weak points.

The continuous recording and analysis of consumption and cost data by the energy management software is the basis for analyses and assessments. From these targets, strategies and measures for consumption and cost optimization can then be developed.

The energy management software runs as stand-alone software on a Windows PC. The stored and processed data is also available for other applications. The energy management software is supplemented by the additional modules, energy management Excel and energy management Mobile. With these two modules even manually recorded meters can be efficiently integrated into the energy management system.

TRANSDUCERS

Transducers are field devices used as sensors for measuring physical values (temperature, humidity, pressure, differential pressure and more) by means of reading recorders and converting them to an electrical analog or digital signal. These supply the information, which is needed for effective operation and control, to the automation stations.
